Meet Phia.

For most of my life, field hockey has been a huge part of who I am. I grew up chasing big dreams, never really knowing just how far they would take me. That journey eventually led me to Penn State, where I became the program’s all-time leading scorer, to representing the U.S. Women’s National Team, and ultimately to becoming a 2024 Paris Olympian.

Those are some of the accomplishments I’m most proud of, but they’re only one part of my story.

Behind the moments people see are years of hard work, pressure, self-doubt, and a lifelong journey with anxiety. Learning how to navigate both the highs and the harder moments has shaped me just as much as anything I’ve accomplished on the field. It’s also why I care so deeply about having honest conversations around mental health and showing that success and struggle can exist at the same time.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve also learned how important it is to know who I am outside of being an athlete. I love creating, connecting with people, spending time with the people I love, and building things that allow me to express a different side of myself.

That’s a big part of what led me here. Whether I’m competing, creating content, or building PHIEUX, I want to encourage people to chase the things that excite them, embrace every side of who they are, and remember that who you are will always matter more than what you achieve.

The Story Behind PHIEUX.

PHIEUX started as something simple: a combination of my first and last name, Phia + Gladieux. But over time, it came to represent something much bigger.

Just like the name is made up of two halves, so is my life.

One half is field hockey: training, competing, representing Team USA, and chasing dreams I've had since I was a little girl.

The other half is everything beyond the sport: my family, my friends, my dogs, creating content, and building this community. The people and passions that keep me grounded and remind me that who I am extends far beyond what I accomplish on the field.

PHIEUX is a reminder that both sides matter. You can be driven and ambitious while also making room for the people, passions, and moments that make life meaningful.

This brand isn't just about clothing. It's a reflection of the life I'm building, and I hope when you wear PHIEUX, it reminds you to embrace every part of your own story, too.
